Deep Rhythms From The Vaults Part 1

When I first moved to the southside of Glasgow about 12 years ago
I used to frequent a small independent record store called salvation sounds.
This was a magical little place filled with sublime music and a very knowledgeable owner.
Sadly the advent of the digital age has signalled the demise of salvation sounds
and lots of other small record stores like it. With this in mind i was racking through
the old boxes and thought, that there was so much of this excellent music from
a period in my life, that i had never played at any of our nights or put in any
of our mixes. So here it is part 1 of a journey back through the last 12 years.
Part 2 to follow in August, Enjoy
Far Beyond - Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band
Brand New Day (Afterdark Dub Mix) - Jersey Street
Aliena’s Journey - Schatrax
Playing Fields - House Of 909
New Start - 16B
Substream - KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE
Your Sweet Lovin - Moodymann
I Feel The Rhythm - Ron Trent
Who Are You - Kevin Yost
It doesn’t have to end - 16B
The Muse - Fragement Orchestra

I still remember being amazed when I first heard the original 16b full-length album. I was blown away by it. As a whole album, I think it holds up pretty well even today.
I look forward to part 2 with great anticipation.
