next up for our third guest mix of the month we have dj limbs. DJ limbs is a producer/dj and all-around lover of sonic arts residing in Chicago. His first needle drop was in 2000, while living in Switzerland, scratching for a group of MCs at talent shows. When he moved to the Philippines, he got into beat-making and worked with Nimbus 9ine among other prominent heads in the Manila scene. 2002 was his re-introduction to the US, attending college in Urbana-Champaign where he grew with the vibrant scene around central Illinois. There he was president of the local HipHop Congress organization for two years, held three club residencies, and was a regular DJ for the b-boy and spoken word scene. He also discovered sound design while interning at a game company (Volition Inc), which helped him take his producing skills to another level. Nowadays he’s steady moving in the Chicago scene making beats, doing remixes, spinning out, and working as a composer/sound designer in the interactive media industry. check his shizzle at http://www.myspace.com/djlimbs
